It does smell elegant, but very much a an older style perfume- the powdery floral is a little overwhelming to me. I did not get any of the citrus or much of the rose notes.

The fragrance is well made and blended beautifully. I enjoy getting to try scents I would not normally get a sample of. Its not for me but that doesnt mean youll feel the same. Perfume is so subjective. I look forward to trying more scents.
