Similar to wine decanting, a fragrance decant is simply transferring the fragrance from the original designer bottle to another container. In this case, smaller glass spray vials such as 1ml, 3ml and 5ml.
No, ScentDecant.com will never require you to purchase a subscription to get our great prices. We do offer the option to get periodic deliveries if you would like, but there is no subscription required to purchase our fragrance decants.
All of our fragrances are sold in 1ml, 3ml and 5ml vial sprayers. The 5ml comes in our nicer travel atomizer. We also sell the original boxed retail bottle on most fragrances.
It depends on the fragrance sample size you purchase, but here is a guideline as to what to expect with each sample size we carry:
• 1ml = approx. 15 sprays
• 3ml = approx. 45 sprays
• 5ml = approx. 75 sprays
The concentration of the fragrance is determined by the original designer's manufacturer. Here are the fragrance abbreviations we use on our site. Concentrations are listed from the strongest to weakest:
Parfum - Pure Parfum
EDP - Eau de Parfum
PDT - Parfum de Toilette (same as EDP)
EDT - Eau de Toilette
COL - Cologne

Yes, you will find a label on each vial (placed on front) and travel atomizer (placed on bottom) with the fragrance name so you can easily identify each sample you receive. If for some reason, yours is missing please contact customer service and we can arrange a new label for you.
The 1ml and 3ml vials are high-quality glass, which is much better for a fragrance’s longevity and shelf life. The 5ml is decanted into a glass vial, which has a hard plastic protective outer case. All our vials and atomizers are recyclable.

Returns & Refunds
To ensure there is no product tampering and to guarantee each product shipped is authentic, we do not accept returns or exchanges for Vials, Sprays, or other decanted items. Please make your selections carefully as all decanted item sales are final.
You may return any full size unopened retail box merchandise in its original condition, including original packaging and packing slip within 30 days of receipt and you will receive a full refund less shipping and any gift wrapping charges.
