You can compare this fragrance to others perfumes in Ford's collection or to a dozen other plush orientals, but you only need to smell Habit Rouge for everything to fall into place. From the fizzy citrus top notes to the leather, tonka bean and vanilla inlaid drydown, Tom Ford Noir wears its Guerlinade well.

After his latest Violet Blonde, Tom Ford offers a masculine counterpart mysterious, spicy, full bodied and at the same time elegant. Enigmatic, complex and surprising, this is Ford's most satisfying foray into perfume so far, as he reveals himself.

Noir by Tom Ford is a Aromatic Spicy fragrance for men. Noir was launched in 2012. Top notes are bergamot, verbena, caraway, pink pepper and violet. Middle notes are black pepper, nutmeg, tuscan iris, geranium, bulgarian rose and clary sage. Base notes are opoponax, amber, indonesian patchouli leaf, vetiver, civet and vanilla.

I like it. But...

I like it, I actually got this and the extreme though and honestly just go for the extreme.

Not the biggest fan of this scent on my skin

The best ever

Very nice but not unique

I purchased some samples to compare for a gift and this scent was lovely, but (as someone else said) seems to be missing something. I like it, but it has a lack of uniqueness. I do feel this is a gender-neutral scent and would wear it anytime but it wasn't my favorite of the samples I purchased (Noir Extreme was the winner).
