First off, I smell nothing other than a peppery house fire. No notes beyond that. Just pepper…and smoke. Not even a nice, sweet smoke like the Maison Margiela By the Fireplace either. In fact, I think my neighbors trap house burning down smelled better than this. The description tries to pull you in with artsy, pretentious BS but for the love of everything, do not fall for it.

Second off, I’m not sensitive to smells in any way shape or form but this BURNS my nostrils worse than a sinus infection.

If you want ACTUAL perfume that’s light, complex, woodsy and lasts a while without smelling like my aforementioned neighbors trap house fire, try Murray and Lanman Florida Water.

Very complex notes to this fragrance. Little woody. Little aromatic bitters. Im not sure I like it or not. My wife is unsure if she likes it. Mind you she didnt hate it but compared to other fragrances over the last couple years thats not a glowing endorsement.

I don?t think I?m allowed to use the words I want to use to describe how awful this fragrance smells. If your goal is to smell like a house fire, have at it!

Very heavy black pepper notes initially. Fades into a dark musky scent thats perfect for the winter. One of my favorites!

I tried this fragrance because I tend to be very adventurous and love smoky scents. This is a very unique scent with sharp resinous top notes drying down into leather and smoke. It definitely won?t be everyone?s type of fragrance, especially if you aren?t drawn to experimenting with unusual combinations. I wear a lot of indie perfumes as well, so I enjoyed wearing this, and felt a very outdoors vibe.
