Libre by Yves Saint Laurent is a Oriental Fougere fragrance for women. Libre was launched in 2019. Libre was created by Anne Flipo and Carlos Benaim. Top notes are mandarin orange, lavender, black currant and petitgrain. Middle notes are jasmine, lavender and orange blossom. Base notes are madagascar vanilla, cedar, ambergris and musk.

YSL Libre fragrance samples available in 1ml, 3ml and 5ml sizes.

So glad I tried this sample, have heard so much about this perfume. I love the scent just wish it lasted longer. I smell the lavender at first, then a musky vanilla. Very pretty scent.

Nice but not for me

Nice but too mature

Lovely scent but I am 26 I think it is a little too mature for me. Would be very nice on someone 35+

Disappointing drydown

The first half hour is great! Interesting, complex blend of lavender, vanilla, and something spiced. It almost smells like a fancy rootbeer, in a good way. But on me, the drydown is pure lavender. Lavender is great--until it starts smelling like men's cologne. That's what this smells like. I'm going to try the Intense version next--that one is more vanilla heavy and maybe it will keep more of those first notes.
