Viktor & Rolf present the male equivalent of the famous Flowerbomb fragrance (2005) and the second mens fragrance after Antidote (2006) under the name of Spicebomb. The designer duo wanted to give men the fragrance that is Flowerbomb to women, bearing in mind that spices are for masculine scents what flower notes are for feminine.Spicebomb came out in January 2012 as an explosive and extrovert oriental - woody and spicy composition. Perfumer Olivier Polge blended spices with sensual undertones - creating two diametrically opposed fragrant accords: 1. the addictive and fiery one and 2. the explosive and icy one. The fiery accord contains notes of chili, saffron, leather, tobacco and vetiver. The explosive one includes bergamot, grapefruit, elemi and pink pepper.

Scent not for me

Spicebomb

I tried it in the summer just to see if it could be a fun night fragrance. It's ok, still smells like Spicebomb, not overwhelming or cloying in the heat. But the scent profile, it's like pumpkin spice lattes, you can drink them year round, but it only makes sense during a certain season. So for me Spicebomb is still a fall/winter frag even though you could wear it during other times of the year. Overall, too linear an uninteresting for me. People like it, but to me it's boring.

Pretty tasty

It definitely had to grow on me. But once it did. It’s now a go to at least once a week.
