Molecule 03 consists of Vetiveryl Acetate, pure and singular.

Vetiveryl Acetate could be described as a hybrid molecule, half-natural, half-synthetic. It is a fraction of vetiver oil, distilled from the roots of an Indian grass, which is then 'crossed' with acetic acid to remove the bitter and leathery aspects of the root.

The result is an elegant and refined molecule with the woody, slightly grassy character of vetiver, but far smoother and softer. Acetylation also brings out the grapefruit touch in vetiver, says Geza Schoen, giving a more pronounced bitter-fresh top note.

The Molecule 03 fragrance is radically minimalist. It contains no odorants except the aroma-molecule, Vetiveryl Acetate. Those customers who find the Molecule fragrances too subtle may wish to try the Escentric fragrances, which will always have a more powerful diffusion.

Unflattering smell

Would not want to go around smelling like this perfume. Resembles the smell of a church. It’s unique though I’ll give it that.

I loved the scent, but the bottle wasn’t sealed all the way and most of it had leaked by the time it arrived.

Buying again!

I love it! People ask me all the time what I'm wearing. And people who know me, give me a hug and a deep smell to inhale me and say, "I always love to smell you!!!" I don't get lavender at all. It's fresh, exotic, and natural all at once. Don't just smell it in the bottle. Spray it on and wait.... :)

pure vetiver

Smells like strait up vetiver. I like vetiver , but it is too masc. for me, will try on Hubie

Escentric Molecule 03 Review

Not a fan of this spray. Smells like grapefruit but not as sweet. More of a musk smell to it.
