Dolce & Gabbana presented the new version of the feminine fragrance The One from 2006. The One Essence launched in September 2015 as the highest concentration of original composition. It is described as the scent of warmth, elegance and luster, inspired by luxurious materials.The composition retains the original notes. It begins with fresh bergamot, mandarin, peach and litchi. The heart unfolds with white flowers of jasmine and lily and turns into the warm base of amber, vetiver and vanilla.

Grown up The One

It literally smells like a slightly more mature The One. Where The One is very floral and sweet and powdery, this is more floral and sweet/spicey, and amber-y.

I used The One in the morning to go to work and changed for dinner and drinks and freshened up with Essence and they paired great.

I also just used Essence as a daytime and it was not overpowering or inappropriate for office wear.

A good versatile addition to any collection. Very pleased.
