Had been curious about this scent due to its name, and the fact that I seem to be drawn to fragrances with some of the notes- -especially pink pepper. This did not disappoint. This one has a cozy fall/winter feeling for me, and makes me want to spray it on sweaters so that I can always get a whiff of it. I get the smokiness and a hint of the sweet. Nothing overpowering in either direction. I know people have different body chemistry, but I do not get the “pencil shavings” some complain about. This one hits just right!

This scent is like the most amazing cozy date night by the fireplace.....smoky, ****, delicious! I could still smell it the next day after only spraying one spray on my neck! A little goes a long way! I want this in the full bottle and soon!

You know the smell of smoke in the air on a cold fall morning? That's what I was hoping for with this cologne. Contrast that with the smell at the back of your woodburning fireplace as you are cleaning out the ash; that's what this smells like to me.

I love the smell of sitting out beside a bonfire in early summer or fall, and, until I can find something that exactly exudes that feeling, this is the next best choice. I feel like the cloves and vanilla take it to the true interior 'fireplace' vibe, which works for me.

I just need to find a scent that pulls back on the clove, and then layers a dirt/moss dampness that exudes an outdoor aesthetic and then I'll be set with my interior and exterior firewood scents.
