Habanolide musk accentuates the delicate glow of the saffron until it shines as brightly as freshly polished gold, while Somalian incense creates a woody-smoky resinousness that acts as a dark backdrop against which the bright, almost foiled properties of that amazing saffron can shine.
Ambroxan infuses the whole affair with a spicy, peppery radiance that feels like leather or wood made air. The saffron remains the undisputed star, but it is this vegetal muskiness in the drydown that will haunt you.
