I absolutely love the opening of this one. It's so bright and fresh, but the dry down is overly patchouli heavy for me. I was disappointed because I love the opening so much.

Hubby said it was too spicy?

agree with one reviewer who said it opens as citrus then a bit flowery but there is a hint of something deeper like the woody note of oak moss. it does well in the heat which seems to bring out the citrus smell. lasted around 1.5 hours in the heat and then reappliad. which then seemed to stay quite a while since skin was already sticky with VitD. so this means that one might need a "layer" which apparently a good layer or holder for perfume is "not a perfume-juliette has a gun" but i haven't tried that yet to actually say.
i will say it has an nod to perfume from the older generation that is to say the women would pick a perfume, stick to it and do a dab here and there- so is like a scent my grandma would wear but with a twist. that is not a bad thing at all- just gives a "remembrance" perfume which is quite endearing and maybe something that if one wears today their family or people around will have a 'rememberance' or memory pop as you wear it.

I bought this as a blind buy & so happy I did.... Not too heavy a floral, dry down is great and longevity is about five hours

I really love this scent. Not too floral, not easily defined by me. It aged on my skin so nicely. My husband liked it too, which is uncommon. Purchased a full size. So glad I got to try it first.
